Samantha Brumbaugh, RYT-200

Yoga came to me as much as I came to it — during a time of deep uncertainty and darkness, when I wasn’t even sure what I was searching for. What I found was a place to pause, breathe, and begin again. Through this practice, I learned to meet myself with compassion and curiosity, and to reconnect with parts of me I hadn’t been in tune with in a long time.

My practice is rooted in mental health, accessibility, and finding inner comfort. I’m drawn to slow, mindful movement that encourages intention over intensity — where each breath and shape becomes an act of presence.

One of my favorite poses is Triangle Pose. It reminds me to stay steady through change, to shift perspective when things feel stuck, and to find balance in the midst of it all.

I’ll be teaching Beginners & Beyond on a rotating basis and holding space for weekly Yin + Sound classes that weave gentle movement with sound healing. My hope is to create spaces where you feel safe to explore, soften, and come home to yourself.

Outside of practice, I express myself through baking and photography. On any given weekend, you might find me hiking in nature, tapping into my inner couch potato with a video game, or wandering local flea markets while finding joy in the most mundane of errands. It’s all about balance, after all!
