Restorative Yoga is the yoga practice that restores, returning to our previous condition, our true nature.

Judith Lasater Ph.D teaches that “restorative yoga is the antidote to stress.  The effects of stress have reached epidemic proportions in our lives and stress-related diseases have become a medical specialty.”

Teaching Restorative Yoga is not just for the students, it benefits the teacher as well.

If you are teaching others the art of being relaxed, you yourself will have to have had the experience of complete surrender in order to share it.   Restorative Yoga is not only for those who are overstressed, but it can also be an introduction to yoga for those who cannot do a more physical yoga practice.  Restorative yoga practitioners experience the same benefits as traditional asana practice while being totally supported.

Restorative yoga is a practice of the heart...
from the teacher’s heart to the student’s, no words need to be spoken, only the intention held.
