Jeanette Palermo

Jeanette discovered yoga in her early twenties as a powerful tool for supporting mental health, offering a sense of grounding and inner peace during life’s challenges. Over the past 30 years, her practice has evolved into a deep, holistic journey—one that blends movement, breath, and mindfulness to cultivate resilience and balance. Practicing yoga and mindfulness is a core foundation of Jeanette’s life.

The powers of the Universe brought Jeanette to Live in Joy in 2021 for the 200-hour YTT. Jeanette also has a certification in Menoflow Yoga from Sally Parkes Yoga in West Sussex, England, and completed training in Restorative Yoga at LIJ in 2023. She also has training in mindfulness-based stress reduction through the Myrna Brind Center of Mindfulness at Jefferson under the direction of Alezza Moss. Jeanette shares her wisdom and experience with students, guiding them to find their path of healing and self-discovery. With a compassionate and inclusive approach, she creates space for practitioners of all levels to embrace yoga as a physical practice and a lifelong source of strength and well-being.
