Alyssa Joyce, RYT 200

My name is Alyssa, and I'm so excited to flow with you! I found my yoga practice in 2019 and began engaging with it more frequently after moving out on my own and feeling a strong push to find myself on a deeper level. I had a lot of questions and skepticism during my Yoga Teacher Training, but all of that led to strength and confidence in my current yoga practice. My yoga philosophy is focused on intentional breathing and mindfulness, meeting myself where I am at with love and compassion, and pushing myself to strengthen my connection with the Universe. I hope to bring that to all of you through my "Yoga on the Blocks" series! Blocks and other props allow us to sink into poses and find comfort in otherwise uncomfortable positions. I love that blocks can bring beginners access to yoga while also creating advanced poses for longtime yogis looking to push even further. I can't wait to share space with you on the mat.
