She discovered yoga in 2008 after sustaining an injury while running. The running injury required extensive visits to the chiropractor, physical therapist, and several specialists. When none of these efforts worked, Melissa decided to take a different approach to heal and started practicing yoga consistently.
Although her yoga journey started out with a focus on physical healing, she soon realized the mental benefits and believes that her yoga practice has been life-changing. She wanted to share her love of yoga with the community and recently completed a 200 hour Wild Soul Yoga Teacher Training in Clarksboro, NJ and is excited about the opportunity to share her knowledge. She believes that anyone and everyone can reap the benefits of yoga.
