ABOUT

Ayurveda, meaning “the science of life”, is a 5,000-year-old natural healing system originating from India that offers a holistic approach to health by balancing body, mind, and spirit. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, it emphasizes self-awareness, personal responsibility, and aligning with one’s natural constitution. 


Rooted in the Vedic tradition, Ayurveda works with three primary life forces: Vata (movement), Pitta (transformation), and Kapha (structure); all of which exist in everyone in varying proportions. Each force governs physical functions and emotional tendencies, and an Ayurvedic practitioner uses tools like pulse reading and observation to determine individual balance. 


Unlike the constantly evolving modern medical practices, Ayurveda has remained consistent over centuries- offering both disease treatment and daily lifestyle guidance that empowers individuals to actively engage in their own well-being.
