Yin Yoga is ‘passive’ yoga where we sink into postures for extended intervals. These longer held poses of Yin yoga eases flexibility to connective tissue, cultivating ‘core flexibility’ and restores the body & mind. Suitable for all levels of students, Yoga targets the deep, connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

While, initially, Yin yoga may seem passive, Yin practice can be quite challenging due to the long duration of the poses.Yin is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. These longer held poses of Yin yoga eases flexibility to connective tissue, cultivating ‘core flexibility’ and restores the body & mind.
