Surya Namaskar is a complete and profound yoga practice. We open our hips and shoulders, calm the nervous system, strengthen legs, arms, wrists, and core. It also stimulates the thyroid gland and energizes the kidneys.
The energetic benefits are bountiful as well: it grounds us in the present moment while connecting us to our center; relieves frustration in the mind; and allows us to take time to connect with our inner light, to honor our inner sun.
In this workshop you will learn the series, any modifications needed for your best practice, how to flow with your breath and work with your gaze to experience meditation in motion.
