Marianne Sutin has practiced yoga asana for over thirty years. She completed the 200 hour teacher training program at Yoga On Main in Philadelphia and Advanced Studies/Teacher Training with master yogi Erich Schiffman in in 2010, and currently teaches in the Philadelphia area. She graduated from the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY as a flute major, completed her M.ED in Education at the College of New Jersey, and was introduced to bansuri by her mentor Manose Newa. As a flutist and singer/songwriter, she regularly performs with the kirtan artist Gaura Vani.
Randy Sutin was born in Great Falls, Montana but grew up in a small town in upstate New York, about 40 miles from Montreal, Quebec. He is a graduate of the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, NY. Randy plays throughout the Northeast corridor with jazz groups and has appeared on recordings with internationally known bassist, Tyrone Brown and the late Eddie Green. Randy has collaborated with his wife, Marianne, in another project which attempts to create a whole new genre of music that he refers to as Balanced American Music. In 2007 they recorded a CD called "Meditations for Percussion and Flute". This was followed in 2012 by a single release with renowned bansuri master, Manose, called "Murali Syrinxed."

Learn to be guided from within and slide into the feeling of peace! This workshop will combine meditation, asana, and mantra for a unique and joyful practice suitable for all levels. We’ll begin with a grounding meditation, move into a guided gentle asana practice, allow time for exploration of freeform asana, and end with an extended savasana accompanied by a healing sound bath.
